Conservative icon Rush Limbaugh has said that he hopes President Barack Obama fails.
"No, I don't share that," Gov. Butch Otter said.
Otter said his "free-market tendencies may ruffle a little bit" at Obama's strategy to pay for immediate economic stimulus by ballooning federal debt. But he said the country risks a worse recession if Obama doesn't succeed.
"I think it'd be deeper and lengthen and maybe even go into a depression if we failed," Otter said.
Restoring public confidence in the economy is critical, Otter said. "I'm going to do all I can to get as many people working and get as many people confident that they can participate in this economy by getting them jobs building bridges and roads, and water systems for rural Idaho, and energy conservation and weatherization.

These clowns fail to see the big picture. If socialism succeeds, we’re stuck with it. If it, and Obama fail, they will get booted out and capitalism will bring us back.

Gee, when a fire fighter shows up at your house that is on fire and starts pouring gasoline on it, you kind of hope the “fire fighter” doesn’t succeed. In fact you hope he is promptly removed from “fighting” the fire.

Jindal’s answer was the best, he wants America to succeed, but he knows Obama’s policies will lead to failure.
Limbaugh never said he wanted America to fail ... he said he wanted Obama to fail.

Governor Butch missed an opportunity to explain to the American people that about half (or more) really do want Obama’s Marxist policies to fail. Instead he soiled himself and wasted an opportunity to support conservative principles. We want Marxism/Socialism to fail before it starts.
We wish President Obama success in all of his policies that support the culture of life, protecting our borders, our American Christian God-based heritage and culture, and our English language. It is that simple, not to put words in the mouth of Rush Limbaugh, or Michael Savage. (or any of the other conservative talk radio hosts like Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura S., Sean Hannity, and other greats).
