There's something wrong with your Cadillac, they get good mileage.

If it gets good mileage, it ain't a real Cadillac!

LOL. Yeah, just like he’ll “look into” offshore drilling and nuclear power, and “look into” finding common ground on abortion.

This guy is a f’ing disgrace and a liar.

The time is ripe for a Republican to articulate a alternative vision, and to do so in a manner that appeals to independents and solid Democrats

People don't want to hear from a "Republican" about anything, that seems to be the problem. They don't want to hear from Sarah Palin.

They MIGHT have wanted to hear an outsider Rick Santelli (Joe the Plumber) speak up. But clearly, they lump Boehner/Mcconnel into the Pelosi briar patch.

Maybe this is partly why the frantic effort to tie "outsider" Limbaugh to the GOP anchor....to keep him from soaring as an "outsider".

agree.

but it’s not going to come from the castrated rinos.

it’s time for the younger conservatives to speak up.

rush limbaugh’s a commentator with no political designs.

the dems and their media made rush an issue because there’s no gop leadership.

The NOTUS, a clear case of affirmative action in action.

If the Republicans had a pair or a spine and could offer something better and articulate it well the game could be over. Alas, they don’t and can’t so it won’t be over.

Funny thing, relativity, by comparison to the alternatives the dumocrats have this one may be pretty good but if your yardstick is only a foot long the selected one just doesn’t measure up.

Looks good, sounds good, reads well, executes the agenda but shallow as a sheet of paper. Doesn’t matter, so are most Americans now.

Too many words! (But right on!)

What I’m not seeing is that Americans in the sleeping giant-mode are FINALLY feeling HolyO’s effect on the economy and otherwise—IN THEIR PURSES AND THEIR WALLETS!!!

And it’s going to get worse!! Just wait ‘til all those taxes on the ‘95% of you won’t see ANY raise in taxes’ kicks in—maybe we should start investing in torches and farm implements soon? I predict Home Depot and Lowe’s will have runs on those items when the natives start to revolt!!!

And it looks like some of the liberals are just starting to figure that out (thought they were immune, eh? Ha!) I’m starting to see more and more comments from liberal journalists actually QUESTIONING (OH MY!!) HolyO and his policies! Guess their 401k’s are taking a beating too!

There is NO articulation with these people as they Only want to hear the rich being stripped and the evil companies being taxed to death and something for nothing.. We are not dealing with rational people but instead with Racism and Class envy which the Kenyan Bastard has used in a effective manner to bait the Lazy and Mental cripples.. How do you get a message through to this sector I do Not know!

Virtually all Americans, more than eight in 10, blame Republicans for the current economic woes

The direct result of Republicans' not defending themselves vigorously, and not pointing fingers at the culprits when the collapse occurred.

Depends, Gov Palin has to start building a base now, and airing her views around the country.

What is lacking is a William Buckley type of figure, brainy without being pushy, disarming via intellect, and a clear message that anyone can understand and agree with.

We have plenty of bomb throwers, we need some sharp as a tack spokes people with...ideas and ideals.

To be fair, tho. Goldwater had his WFB back then and it didn't help him then either.

At that time, that is true, he Goldwater also had a young Reagan on his side and it was to no avail.

Ideas and Ideals take time to bubble up, and right now the media, the non paid media, simply will not let a charismatic brand of Conservatism to have an airing.

There are some great young Conservative Lions at NRO, (Mark Steyn is mostly a guest colunmnist though)in Goldberg and York, but they don’t yet have the reach that is needed, and sadly the fact of the matter is, until Liberalism inflicts pain in the wallets and the consciousness of America, the ball is totally in the Liberals court.

For example, for whatever reason there exist a group of college students that are seriously pro Socialism, that is very much like a herd of cows coming together to pen a “How to cook beef” cookbook, they are cutting their own financial throats and no one, and I do mean no one, is pointing this out to them.

Well, you only have 2 choices, a Republican or Zero. It's not too hard to figure out.
