PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THIS LUNATIC (Liberal whining about Glenn Beck effectively countering)
The Washington Monthly ^ | March 17, 2009 | Steve Benen

Posted on 03/17/2009 4:16:50 PM PDT by JSDude1

Glenn Beck, Fox News' deranged media personality, has been telling a national television audience that the Obama administration might be setting up secret "concentration camps" to lock up conservatives. The president, Beck believes, may be using FEMA in this conspiratorial drive towards "a totalitarian state."

Beck, who has already voiced his affinity for the John Birch Society, is also distributing Birchers' literature to his audiences.

If he were just some random right-wing blogger, it would be easier to laugh this off.

Like there’s something wrong with the John Birch Society?

This week Fox has been rerunning Beck’s show at 1:00am Central, which may help those on the west coast.

Beck has a certain humility about him that disarms the overly sensitive types that can't concentrate on Rush Limbaugh just because of his tone.

He come across as more of a "populist" even though he hates that decription.

He also has made early predictions about our current economic situations in this country and has gained recognition for it.

I had to stop listening to his radio show though because now I am hooked on Xanax.

I love Glenn. Used to get a kick out of hearing the updates about his neighbors Christmas lights being up til spring (or longer). He just had such a funny way of letting his audience in on what new ‘holiday’ those Christmas lights were lit for.

Many freepers think so. Sad really. I often see posts with replies that make derogatory comments about JBS. I suspect it’s the same group of freepers who occasionally let it be known (when they just can’t resist posting) that they too are globalists/elitists/econobots/Bushbots,pro-illegal/pro-open borders/pro-CFR, etc. Unfortunately, it is these same types who united to really push and bring us McCain, though I think for them, several of our other (R) candidates could also met their criteria and had their support. I see the (R) party very, very divided along these lines.

We have a lot ammunition now between Rush & Co and Beck style and some of the Democrats don’t have home since the pinko have taken over that party it seem completly!

Both Mark Levin and Glenn Beck have excellent sources for those in need.

I think Glenn and Rush have this right...the employees have a contract, and didn’t the idiots in DC whining have something to do with writing it anyway!
And now they act like it’s news to them!!

Beck should be given a later show on the West Coast. His show is on at 2PM out here. I look for him to replace O’Rielly one of these days.

I will always have a high degree of suspicion regarding McCain’s resurrection halfway through the campaign.

I will always wonder if he wasn’t set up to fail and had full knowledge of it since he has always been so big on working with the “other” side(I don’t know if I believe there is another side anymore).

Remember when his campaign was virtually dead and MSM went into a crash cart frenzy?

I will always feel like America got sold out by both sides.
Ignorant voters certainly did their part, but I believe there was something else behind the scenes-so outrageous it will never see daylight-and if anyone even comes close to exposing it, they will never be heard from again.

It’s all so complicated. I’ll never figure any of this out.
We have people inside both parties that seem to be hell bent on destroying America from within. Were they corrupted by foreign monies or were they just flat out evil to begin with?

Millstone is a cash cow for the media. He was ultimately their pick. But is it the “long march” or just the fact that they will be able to milk “news” out of the presidency like never before? Every sneeze or hiccup can be spun into a tsunami on a racial angle. MSM has never had it so good.

Maybe it all just boils down to the ancient struggle between good and evil, which is a simple minded way to look at it, but at least it makes sense.

I’m angry about all of it.

I used to believe that militia groups were just a bunch of dangerous crackpots.

Now I’m not so sure about it. The greatest threat to America is on the banks of the Potomaine River. 1600 is also a threat, but he’s just one person. He can’t do that much without the help of Nancy, Harry and the rest of them, who might be even more dangerous than he is.

“More dangerous than he”....I call “them” the bipartisan ‘powers that be’. And I couldn’t agree more, especially about something “so outrageous it will never see the light of day”. I can’t help but believe anymore that our POTUS is little more than a puppet on ‘their’ string and I’ve concluded that ‘they’ keep us mindlessly scurrying over the ‘details’/issues, like ants on an anthill, while ‘they’ control an agenda only dreamed of by ‘tinfoilers’. Don’t know if you saw Glenn Beck’s analogy the other night...distract with cigarettes...but exactly that on perhaps a much bigger scale than we’ll ever know. I know it sounds crazy, but trying to find any other logical explanation is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Beck said he heard these stories and wasn’t going to cover it until he had more information, so this liberal screamer is basing this article on conjecture and hearsay.
