It was almost as if last autumns bitterly fought presidential election never happened. En route to Brussels, where he will give a keynote speech on Saturday at a security conference, John McCain sounds supportive of the man who defeated him.
Asked whether Barack Obama will return next month empty-handed from Strasbourg, where he will request more support from his Nato counterparts in Afghanistan, Mr McCain said: There is enormous goodwill in Europe towards the new president.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Mr McCain, who retained his Senate seat when he became his partys nominee, repeatedly declined to criticise Mr Obamas foreign policy stances, including the decision to explore the possibilities of talks with Iran. Im not against a dialogue with the Iranians, he said. What I was opposed to in the campaign was a one-to-one dialogue with characters dedicated to the extermination of Israel [Mahmoud Ahmedi-Nejad, Irans president].

So that’s what David Frum means when he says we should be more moderate. How can we lose if we have the exact same policies as Obama? David Frum = Political genius.

I wonder if we could trade this jerk back to the North Vietnamese for a draft choice or player to be named later. In light of his incessant backstabbing one is justified in asking where and when this pattern emerged, and to wonder what really may have happened in Hanoi.

So exactly what would have been different if McNugget had won ? McCain seems pleased with Obamas performance so far. To think millions of Americans were brainwashed to think these crooks were actually members of opposing parties. Hey that’s it. Instead of calling them the Ruling Party or Big Government Party, lets just call them the Crooked Party.
