According to the Washington Times, the Judge claimed he suffered "emotional distress" after receiving a letter from an elderly gentleman, Philip Merrell, a resident of Washington, D.C., who vented outrage at the Judge for his threat to levy sanctions on Hemenway for petitioning the court. The Judge's emotional distress resulted in the dispatch of two armed federal marshals who paid a visit to the Merrell home to inquire as to whether the gentleman knew Hemenway, purportedly at the judge's prompting.
One reason I am extremely careful about being politically active or communicating to public officials in any fashion. Yes, I know it's my God given / Constitutionally recognized right, but I also know that God's not going to pay the legal bills to defend against these Commie b@$t@rds' abuse of those rights.
Yah, well, the judge (little j) still blinked. What is he planning to do; sanction everyone who supports a hearing to determine place of birth? Yah, the judge is a blinker. Now, to just get him in a poker game. Someone would clean his clock.

This part of the article is PROOF the judicial system is COVERING for Obama. They are INTENTIONALLY going out of their way to make him not be forced to prevent it.

I think he should see this part of making a judgement to specifically AVOID Obama from beign forced to show his certficate. This needs to be added to the SCOTUS paperwork ASAP.

I predicted this in an earlier thread because if this judge tried to impose sanctions, the attorney would have jusifiable cause to subpoena Obama’s birth certificate in order to defend himself against any sanction.
Without the BC there is no way to demonstrate that filing this case is frivolous; and this judge certainly doesn’t want it produced.

So it would follow from the above statement that if one is wealthy enough to afford the ‘penalties’ involved with asserting one’s constitutional rights, one need not be ‘deterred’ from seeking redress from one’s government?
