I see from this thread that we fall, as usual, for the exerpted comments, which, I confess, I was about to do before I reminded myself to go read the whole thing.

We are so easily manipulated.

‘kay, I read “the whole thing”.

It’s a giant Bambi suckup. The headline and excerpts were NOT wrong in their representation of Romney fellating Bambi.

You point...??

Indeed!

“After offering a few choice words for Obama’s early conduct in office, Romney suggested it’s OK to hope things go well under the new president.

“I also think its important for us to nod to the president when he’s right,” Romney said. “He will not always be wrong.”

Romney praised Obama for not pulling troops from Iraq haphazardly and for going after terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He also said Obama has been good at talking tough to the struggling auto industry.

Romney then offered some backhanded encouragement for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, upon whom some Republicans have called to resign.”

I can’t say I disagree with much of what he said.

I keep using the Twilight Zone reference... The Episode where aliens play with the electricity, and turn the town against each other (I believe it's called "Monsters are on Elm Street)...

That's what the libs are doing... Taking stuff out of context, outright lying... Pitting us against each other, and these folks fall for it... How pathetic...

I wonder how many folks actually read the details, as opposed to the typical knee-jerk reaction of blasting Romney...

My bet is that 95% chose the latter option.
