In another coup for Brandeis film studies chairwoman Alice Kelikian, adult film star Sasha Grey is set to visit the Waltham campus this month. The 21-year-old porn star is coming to screen Steven Soderbergh's new film, "The Girlfriend Experience," in which Grey plays - wait for it - a prostitute. The film, which won raves at a test screening at the Sundance Film Festival, is having its world premiere April 29 at the Tribeca Film Festival. Grey will be at Brandeis the very next night, and will do a Q&A with film industry analyst and Brandeis alum Scott Feinberg. Grey is just the latest high-profile actor or director or writer to screen their work at Brandeis.

...a COUP!? Getting a PORN STAR!!!? An actual “coup” would be to get an actual star! Someone talented at something other than her personals!! MY GAWD! If my daughter were going there, her career there would be over TODAY!
Every single day I find more reasons to be glad my daughter chose to start at a community college. She drives to school, goes to class and drives home. Doesn’t need to put up with all this nonsense. Of course, she still has liberal instructors, but not stupid ones.
A role model no doubt.
How does inviting this skank work with the feminists on campus? Isn’t porno a means of objectivizing and subjugating women?
