PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - Pakistani Taliban militant leader Baituallah Mehsud claimed on Saturday responsibility for an attack on a U.S. immigration center in New York state in which 13 people were killed.
"I accept responsibility. They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks," Mehsud told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.

A house sold in our area not long ago. Three weeks ago a sign went up “BCIC” in large letters. Underneath in much smaller letters, “Brushy Creek Islamic Center”. This is near a park and three, soon to be four schools.
My thoughts are that one day thousands of small and some large 9-11’s will take place across the world or at least here in America. We’ve just set back on our duffs while our government (on all levels) gladly lets illegals flood through our border and destroy us from every level.
Then there will be a backlash on all who look like arabs or muslims. Places like BCIC will be burned out.

My wife, also Vietnamese, told me that there has been a lot of frustration swelling in the Vietnamese community in the past couple of years. As more and more ILLEGALS sneak in to the USA, the immigration authorities have been shrinking the number of visas available to legal immigrants to compensate. As a result, the red tape has increased and the waiting times for a legal visa have gotten longer for people trying to bring over their wifes and relatives. Also, the fees involved have grown to the point where it is just too expensive for some.
Yep, the legal immigrants keep on getting screwed by the U.S. government and its refusal to do anything about the illegal ones who are crowding them out of jobs and other resources. I certainly can understand that.
Stupid, maybe not, desperate and opportunistic, probably. He got roundly laughed at for his threat earlier, and not just on FR. This one won’t be much better - a 41-year-old Vietnamese jihadi? But it tells me he’s feeling the heat bigtime.
‘Morn. Prolly transitory on the call and figured worth the risk to get some press for A-Q and his name as a bigshot. While it is a silly claim of responsibility for the attack, the truth will not be known by the illiterates in Pakistan who will see him as a great jihadi leader...
