Probably inevitable, given that the marxists create their own revisionist history and then live as if it were true. Obama believs the central command econmy of the USSR was fine, it was other mistakes that caused them to temporarily retrench.

And there is a persistent campaign among the morons of the academy to credit Gorbachev for bringing peace, not Reagan. Like TIME with gorby as their man of the decade. Reason enough by itself to dissolve the entire Time-Life enterprise.

I think it is interesting that President Obama has the same economic policies that President Reagain knew would doom the USSR.

Bama and Company know very well what they are doing. And their first and most important task is the upcoming election. Of course there will always be some conservative that they can point their accusing fingers to blame causing any misery or not willing to sacrifice enough at their high altar.

These liberals also know that the overwhelming majority of Americans are in fact in favor of having a 'big brother' government to punish those who have not been 'fair'. And given that government run education has instilled that only the government can be 'trusted' to save those less fit for survival their program of 'we can do it better' is basically on auto pilot.
