Emanuel Now a Backer of Immigration Action (Major Amnesty Push Coming)

Those arguments continued after Mr. Emanuel was elected to Congress, and were heightened in the run-up to the 2006 election, when he led the successful Democratic effort to take control of the House, she said.

According to widespread reports at the time, Mr. Emanuel urged Democrats who were seen to be most vulnerable in the election to vote in 2005 for a bill that would increase enforcement against illegal immigration. Mr. Emanuel said he simply gave his political advice to members who asked for it, and he noted that he himself voted against the bill.

"There's no more brilliant political strategist than Rahm," Ms. Murguia said. "He was shrewdly trying to lay out vehicles that would provide Democrats cover on this issue."

Ms. Murguia said she began to see a change in Mr. Emanuel's thinking about a year ago, when he approached her to begin strategizing on immigration in the event a Democrat was elected president in 2008. After Mr. Emanuel was named Mr. Obama's chief of staff in November, they spoke again, and Mr. Emanuel said he had read the numbers and seen the impact of the Latino vote.

The Dems want all the illegals to become citizens. More votes for them. Bad for our country, but good for the libs.

Republicans ought to focus their attacks on the most cynical aspects of president Emanuel’s immigration reform proposals. The way to stop a locomotive is to derail it.

and Mr. Emanuel said he had read the numbers and seen the impact of the Latino vote.

Not whether it's right or wrong, legal or illegal, just whether it means votes.

America is foundering. It was a great experiment.

The Dems don’t realize that they are killing their own electoral success in doing this.

When the Latinos become 51%, they will dump the Democrats and start their own Partida de la Raza, and you will never see another Democrat.

Hegel explained all this 150 years ago.

Let's get this straight!

Rahm Emmanuel and a vast cabal of associates are the power behind Barack Obama, who is basically a good looking mouthpiece, like a Hollywood star. One whose Ego is used to manipulate for advantage.

They know that conservatism/honesty is threatening to show up exactly who they are.

The illegals will vote Democrat unquestioned.

This is about power and NOTHING about the integrity, ideology, prosperity, future, and dignity of citizens of the United States.

Those who think Americans are basically "conservative" are thinking only in terms of a diminished number of current conscious citizens. The numbers are actually there, with the help of misdirected souls, to turn the United States into a totally Leftist (Communist) state. (The Soviet Union had regular elections incidentally).

Leftism, Communism, Collectivism, what ever one wants to call it, is, as Jaynes describes, psychological bicameralism, whereby the human being perceives human commerce only in terms of authoritarian demoralized top-down operation, incapable of independent consciousness.

This is the difference between the Old Testament of human commerce through commandments (utterances) and the New, human commerce through individual internal consciousness. They hated and killed Him for exactly exposing that old hegemony. Pontius Pilate: "Why do you want to prosecute this Man?"

This is exactly the difference between the Borg (Communism), and the Prime Directive (Freedom to Decide).

It is also the great breakthrough of the Greeks: philosophy, theatre, where the intellect can examine itself objectively and detached, i.e. consciousness.

"They," the bicamerals, like the Borg, are not dumb. "They" monitor, perceive, and interdict any movement toward conscious individual morality. That is, demoralize (make dependent) in every way possible, just like Communism.

Don't believe it? Just observe Rahm Emmanuel for eight minutes, and reach one's own decision.

Sad, sad future for the United States, at least in terms of human dignity, otherwise called Freedom.

Anybody else get that nagging feeling the streets will run with blood by the end of this maniac’s first term? Or will it just be grinding poverty and famine?

Savage just said that when 30 million illegal immigrants are made legal and they all vote Democrat, this Country will never be the same and that Emanuel will ever give up power.

IMHO, we are cooked and done for!

Independents are now backing away from Oshama.

Even some leftists are starting to desert him over things like increased wiretap surveillance and increased war funding.

So...if the middle is going to vote Repub next time and the hard-left is going to sit it out, how can they keep Repubs from gaining power?

HUGE amnesty push. Emmanuel is EVIL.

You are dreaming. The far left is behind it along with folks like the US Chamber of Commerce, labor unions, the Catholic church, and La Raza. Amnesty passed in the Senate in 2006, i.e., Hagel-Martinez.

VISIONS OF CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS DANCING IN THEIR HEADS

Whipped into shape by the Boy Wonder Rahm, Obama has been assiduously courted by Democrats activists to do this thing. As a method of survival, Democrats are itching to alter immigration quotas and permanently change the relationship between themselves, their party, and in particular, with self-hyphenated Jewish-Americans who have been a fund-raising stronghold (in exchange for pols obeisance and Congressional votes to transfer trillions of US tax dollars and mountains of arms to Tel Aviv).

The market collapse, and Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, wiped out the formidable Jewish-Democrat fundraising machine; the damage is large enough that Dems in office are actively searching for alternative campaign funding solutions. Obama and the Democrats believe it is in their long term interest to break it off---to create an irreversible rift between themselves and the Israeli-centric American Jewish community. Obama's emissaries have already setup the Dem Congress for this strategy.

=================================================

The only wild card is The Boy Wonder Rahm Emanuel----one never knows what this cunning, calculated individual will come up with. As a dual citizen, this guy is notorious for having his cake, and eating it,too.

Rahm's a Wall Street operator who made gazillions, becoming a multi-millioniare overnight----one wonders about Rahm's connections to Madoff---and if Boy Wonder Rahm knew about the scam. At Wasserstein Perella (where he paid all his taxes), The Boy Wonder Rahm worked on eight deals, including the acquisition by Commonwealth Edison of Peco Energy and the purchase by GTCR Golder Rauner of the SecurityLink home security unit from SBC.

Rahm The Wonder Boy then ran for Congress (successfully, OF COURSE); luckily members of the securities and investment industry became his biggest backers, donating more than $1.5M to his campaigns dating back to 2002, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Did Madoff contribute? Did people involved in the scam donate to Rahm?

"Rahm The Boy Wonder" also leaned heavily upon the financial industry as 2006 Dem Congressional Campaign Committee Chair. Financial industry donors contributed more than $5.8M to the Dem committee, behind only retirees. Did Madoff contribute? Did people involved in the scam donate to Rahm?

Pres Bill Clinton in 2000 named Wonder Boy to the Board of Directors for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation ("Freddie Mac"). Rahm's position paid him $31,060 in 2000 and $231,655 in 2001 and he paid all his taxes. During the time Emanuel spent on the board, Freddie Mac was plagued with scandals involving campaign contributions and accounting irregularities. The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) later accused the board of having "failed in its duty to follow up on matters brought to its attention." Emanuel resigned from the board in 2001 when he successfully ran for Congress.

====================================

In between Rahm's successful career choices, he won a coveted scholarship to the prestigious Joffrey School of Ballet; he was THAT good in a tutu.

"Anybody got a rolled-up sock handy?"
