Many of the absentee ballots from the GOP stronghold of Saratoga County have been counted, and the results are not good for Republican Jim Tedisco.

Despite the inclusion of some 1,181 absentee ballots from Tedisco's strongest performing county, he still trails Democrat Scott Murphy by 86 votes, according to the state Board of Elections unofficial count.

Tedisco won the majority of absentee ballots in Saratoga County, 672 to 509, but the 163-vote margin was not enough to overcome Murphy's lead. Tedisco's campaign was hoping to take over the lead once the absentee ballots from Saratoga County were included in the count.

Murphy currently has 79,105 votes, while Tedisco has 79,019....

This is garbage. Election night they reported Tedisco behind but he actually won election night with +25. It looks like the Dems are going to steal another one.

But many of you still think the ballot box is clean, legit, a proper vote. Please understand that ACORN was given billions of dollars in the stimulus, and they will have the resources to steal any election that is remotely close in the coming years. So we might want to think ‘outside the box’, because that’s what’s going to be required. Wake up everybody.

My husband said Obama will not be voted out. The Democrats have the elections fixed from now on!

I don’t even think they’ve been counted yet. I’d like to see the numbers from the first count on to this one. It always seems like it is, in fact, a “count till you’re ahead then stop” approach from Democrats.

Well, it’s true unfortunately. And because we have no Republicans who will make an issue of it, because they are such pussies that they won’t stand up to the ‘racist’ charges, we are forced to look for other solutions.

I thought there were about 6,500 Absentee Ballots returned??? The totals on the State Website only add up to about 4000. Where are the other 2,500 Ballots?????????

Congratulations to Steele. Your continuing the long line of total incompetence of those before you.

The last competent person was taken by a brain tumor.

Murphy lead widens in Congressional race by 168 votes.

“Election officials in each of the 10 counties in the sprawling congressional district started counting 415 military and overseas absentee ballots on Tuesday. They began counting other absentee ballots on April 8.”

I knew Jim Tedisco was a dead man walking. Sneaky Dem tactics strike again.

Obama’s Justice Department only allowed 30 days for the absentee ballots to reach our military personnel and then returned to be counted. But the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and other groups, recommend that absentee ballots be mailed to military voters at least 45 days in advance, and the Military Postal Service Agency recommends at least 60 days.

Our soldiers in war zones, like Iraq and Afghanistan, particularly, need the full recommended time to get their ballots in on time.

Citizens in the 20th district can’t be silent about this, or it will CONTINUE!

Apparently the election commissioner (Dem) and the deputy election commissioner (GOP) were going over every ballot. One would object and the other would object to the objection. These are the ones that are going to court.

Republicans are charging that people whose legal residency is New York City are voting by absentee ballot in the 20th, where they have summer homes, and that Skidmore students are voting when their permanent residency in the 20th is in doubt.
