A friend of mine worked at Subway's (the Sandwich place) and he complained that the Manager kept asking him to wash his hands after he went to the bathroom.
I asked him, "Well you DO wash your hands after you go to the bathroom right!?"
And he laughed and said not at Subway's. He also worked at Jack in the Box. I have since lost touch with him.
At one time I bought a property that had a restaurant in it. I got the bright idea that I would open and run the restaurant. My
biggest headache was employee sanitation. I would require employees to wash their hands twice after using the restroom, once in the restroom and again in the back just to be sure that they did it.
I couldn't hire people who had worked in restaurants before because of the habits that they had picked up. It was a wonder that I wasn't sued. If people really knew...
