World 3, Obama 0 (Bob Maginnis calls Obama a Diplomatic Tourist)
Human Events ^ | 4/20/2009 | Robert Maginnis

President Obama’s two overseas trips -- Europe and Latin America -- make him appear more like a diplomatic tourist than the leader of the free world. He met heads of state, made speeches, attended summits, conducted town hall meetings, but accomplished nothing that furthers U.S. interests abroad.

Obama’s agenda -- described succinctly by his spokesmen on the eve of each trip -- was shut out by the leaders with whom he met.

Obama’s only accomplishment is to portray himself as a chameleon-like leader who takes an anti-American tone to please his foreign hosts.

Presidential candidate Obama promised to demonstrate a new tone for international relations. Apparently that new approach includes criticizing America, groveling to dictators and rogue leaders, allowing others’ agendas to trump ours, forgetting history, and a willingness to sacrifice Americans and their money while giving allies a pass.

Obama has shown that he has but one talent: campaigning and glad-handing. He seems to love applause a bit too much. He promotes Obama, not the USA.

In his eyes, and the sycophants around him, he was a terrific success. He gave speeches that bemoaned and belittled America, stabbed friends in the back and basically told the world that anarchy rules, do whatever you want. And, the crowds cheered while America circles the drain. ZerO to world, adult supervision is over.

Obama seems to think his role is that of roving Ambassador of Goodwill.

Maybe his addiction to the ceremonial aspect of the Presidency will derail or at least retard implementation of his actual plans.

Just think of the millions each trip cost America and what can a 10 year old nitwit possibility do for America. King Obama is a fool and the whole World is laughing at him and America. This turd can’t blame Bush now. And to his cult insane followers, what in the hell were you thinking. Oh, that’s right, no brains.

What can one expect from a lightweight-socialist, propagandists-created, puppet/con-man?

The narcasisstic sociopath NEEDS people to like him (World leaders) and at the same time takes pleasure in hurting those he thinks are out to get him (Us).

Don't forget the clinton retreads, the Chicago hacks, and what is essentially a one-party congress. They do the (dirty) work. And others, whose names are unknown make the decisions. The president's job right now is largely ceremonial, obama is merely the figurehead. He has no plans. We need to keep our eyes on the ball, and it aint BO.

Are you in Germany (or do you have friends in Germany)? If so, what's the scuttlebutt on the street about King Obama?

This has never been a goal of Obama.

A freind of mine who has family in Germany said he is still, like a rock star. As long as he doesn’t speak. No on watched his speach at teh G-20, they said, “because he is not thought of as being very smart. What rock star is?”

So far it appears to me that Obama doesn’t think it’s his job to further U.S. interests. He seems to think an apology is in order for this arrogant behavior of previous administrations, namely Bush. For the first time in history we actually elected a President who really doesn’t like his country or it’s history.
