As tangents go, the comments on this thread haven't been tremendously off-point. I don't see where any of us have lost "the whole point" of the story.

Yes, it is a crimnal conspiracy—two counts: 1) Conspiracy to cover-up a felony of stautatory rape 2) conspiracy of lying to a judge. The only problem is that the tape cannot be used. You cannot legally record a conservation between two parties without each other’s consent. In fact, “Mona Lisa” could be charged with a crime. In fact, I think that they were ordered to take down footage from another “sting operation” because of that.
