A laid-back President Obama brushed off the anti-U.S. bombast of several Latin American leaders and joked about Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez's camera crush.

"I think it's just that President Chavez is better at positioning the cameras," Obama said at the end of the three-day Summit of the Americas meeting in Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.

Chavez, Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega and Bolivia's Evo Morales launched into standard tirades against U.S. imperialism, but Obama let them vent without retort.

Of course they are "no big deal" to Ears. They align perfectly with his own views.

This time it was O who got the tingle up his leg.

Never mind that Chavez is a facilitator of FARC, drug scourge around the world, and despotic cruelty towards his own people.

He’s O’s kind of guy.

In other words, accusing Americans of being imperialist and terrorists is A OK.

Obama’s job is to represent the people and country of the United States. What he is doing in South America is representing “Himself”.

Chavez is not any better at ‘positioning the cameras’ than ‘laid-back’ Obama. I think most people call it lazy and stupid instead of ‘laid-back’.

who uses them has his own private definition, but allows his hearer to think he means something quite different. — George Orwell

0 knows he can anti-US tirade better than any of the Latin American commies. Why should an arrogant ass like him concede that our critics are outdoing him? Get used to this folks. We have at least 3 and a half more years to experience the enemy within.

This is the chosen one, the leader of the free world, the person elected to serve the best interests of America?

He acts like a spoiled child and insults and and puts down the Nation he was sworn to serve and protect not stab in the back.

In some ways I think Obama was smart not to get all indignant and retort to these guys. At one point, I think in response to the beaner from Nicaraugua, he said something like "Let's move on. we've heard all this before."

His response to the tantrums was the response of someone who knows theatrics when he sees it. The problem does not lie here. The problem lies in that Obama thinks he can run with the big dogs, when in fact he still can't piss in the tall grass. He's going to lose an ear one of these days and we are the ones who will be hurt.

but Obama let them vent without retort.

Two reasons: one, it gave him more reasons to use when he goes into his apologetic rants, and two, he didn't have his teleprompter with him.

Two problems here: Obama is a wimp and he agrees with what they said.

I heard on Fox News that 0bama said that he was glad that Ortega didn't blame him for events that happened when he was three years olf.

Like it's all about him.
