It was the ALSO that I thought odd. I meant that PolySci degrees don’t usually mix well with Finance on college campuses - two different worlds and worldviews. Usually entirely different schools - especially at Michigan - pretty radical, IMO. He obviously had an intetest in social affairs - it might actually argue in favor of a depairing suicide if he held onto some of the left-leaning schooling. I just thought it was interesting and unusual.

I know several people who have PolySci as a double major. It's an easy one for a 2nd major and most were entertaining the idea of law school. Two of my daughter's friends are just about to graduate with double majors in Finance and PolySci. BTW, I wouldn't call either one of these guys “left-leaning” by any means.
