In other news:

The big-wigs in the legislature told TxDot, last summer, to borrow the money and the lege would appropriate it this session.

Well, the budget proposals are on the table and the lege is not appropriating the money.

Although the farm organization recognizes the need to build and maintain Texas’ infrastructure, Dierschke said Texas Farm Bureau policy clearly opposes the TTC due to potential losses of agricultural land and the loss of access to rural communities and private property.

Whoever decided to plop down this mega-lane monstrosity across some of the State's most productive and accessible agricultural areas needs to have their head examined...or their butt kicked.
