WEEKNIGHTS at 9 ET on BLOG TALK RADIOTuesday, April 28 at 9 pm ET.
Tonight at 9 ET on The Andrea Shea King Show...
We're wondering, will the growing concern over the spreading Swine Flu virus put a damper on large gatherings at upcoming Tea Parties, lending an even more sinister meaning to David Axelrod's description about the grassroots movement being "unhealthy"?
Colin Hanna, president of
Let Freedom Ring joins us tonight with his opinion on that and more.
The White Houses assertion that the Tea Party movement is unhealthy, is completely unfounded and only offers further indication that President Obama is not taking the legitimate concerns of everyday Americans seriously, Hanna said.
If President Obama and Mr. Axelrod want to know what is truly unhealthy in America today, they should realize that it is not the spirit of the Boston Tea Party that continues to live in these grassroots Tea Party protests, but the spirit of an overarching federal power that taxes and spends too much of the peoples money without regard for their justifiable protest.

Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen "Magic Bullet" Specter says he's going to the D-side (as in "Dark"), giving the socialist opposition the necessary votes to prevent cloture and ram through any legislation the Obama Left desire.
How screwed are we?

What check and balance? Specter was a solid vote on most of the democrat agenda and so are Collins and Snowe. The democrats have practically 60 votes with or without this fool Specter joining them officially. In fact today is a good day for the Republican Party.
Also you using very dramatic words such as death of check and balance? It is not going to stay like this forever, eventually the Republicans are going to win the White House or Congress or both.

And I just heard on Schnitt’s show that Michael Steele just called Sphincter “rude” and “disrespectful” (heard on an audio clip) for doing this, after Senator Cornyn went out on the limb for him. This is why I was saying Steele needs to be given an opportunity.

It's at least possible the swine flu situation is another manufactured crisis to either scare people into not congregating in large groups, such as the tea parties, or use the flu as an excuse to prevent the tea parties from occurring on the false premise a ban must be imposed on large public gatherings to stop the flu from spreading further.
