Audience interest in Barack Obamas news conferences seems to be falling, with Wednesdays press event drawing the presidents smallest primetime audience since his inauguration.
The telecast to mark Obamas 100th day in office was viewed by 28.8 million people, according to Nielsen. That's a 29% drop from the president's last press conference, on March 24, and a 42% fall since his first, on Feb. 9.
Ten networks carried the telecast, which is one less than last time since Fox elected to run its detective drama Lie to Me (7.8 million, 2.3 national adults 18-49 rating) instead. Airing its regular entertainment programming saved Fox ad dollars but didnt help the show much. Lie pulled the same rating it did last week. Yet, like last week, it won the 8 p.m. hour.
Here's the president's last three primetime news events:
Feb: 9: 49.5 million March 24: 40.4 million April 29: 28.8 million

Fox elected to run its detective drama Lie to Me That's a show? I thought Fox had just put a more accurate description on Zero's talk. :-))

Obamachev loves to hear himself speak.
He’s over exposed. People are going get tired of him and then dislike him.

"April 29: 28.8 million" Ha! Even the Obamamaniacs have had enough of seeing his puss all over the TV.
If his teleprompter was human he'd prolly be blamed, then fired.

Listening to the president speech is a lot like watching NASCAR.
A certain percentage watch just to see and (teleprompter) accident.
One is tragic and you say a prayer. The is hilarious and you tell a friend.

That guy talks too much and is becoming old news rather quickly.
Although I suppose it’s better that he spends so much time on his vanity because it takes time away from plotting more sinister things. I’m also glad he has only a skeleton cabinet. If he had all those posts filled he might actually get something done and then we’d be in real trouble.

Another 6-12 months and we will ALL hate him. Even the morons that voted for him. Already the media has to resort to lies to make it sound as if he is so popular. I heard that during that speech the other day in Missouri, on his 100 day anniversary, there were hundreds of protesters outside. Inside it was portrayed as if he was just so popular and so well liked. Yeah right. The reality of it is that he’s widely despised and hated, by ever increasing numbers.
