It’s saying a hell of a lot about modern America that the coordinated attack on this country on 911 wasn’t enough to make it a real war for so many people. Hence we will find out how evil our enemies are and how much they hate us when they take a swipe that kills hundreds of thousands or millions.
Well maybe W. should have asked for a bit of sacrifice rather than tell people to go shopping after 9/11.
He should have started the US moving away from its oil addiction and toward something more rational than funding both sides of the WoT.
I find it hard to pinpoint W.’s biggest failure since there were so many. Perhaps it was paving the way for the near obliteration of his party and the takeover of the RATs of the entirety of the US government.
The man was a disaster for the GOP and a disaster for America. The right things he did were so overshadowed by the wrong that he will go down as one of the worst Presidents in the history books on both the right and the left.
