While John did break the colleges rules and should have some discipline the other people at the university are really no better. The ones sending him threatening emails and throwing food at him in the college's cafeteria are no better then him. They are not showing any Christian values themselves.
But HE has chosen to blow off the rules HE agreed to follow. And now he gets the consequences for his FREE choices.
