How can you be Pro-Obama and a Republican?

Because the Republican party has yanked itself hard to the left. Look at how three liberals dominated the 2008 primaries.

Some of these media types are completely full of crap. I have no idea what it means for someone like Smerconish -- or Michael Savage Weiner -- to get on the air and claim that they are "a Republican," "a conservative," etc.

Savage has never claimed to be Republican. He's identified himself as an independent conservative. He's been a ferocious critic of Republicans and Bush on many issues.

Calling him a RINO is way too kind IMO. He was a horror show on the order of Specter's sort of Republican before he ever decided that Obama was his man.

I listened to Smerconish on the way to work for years, that is until he advocated the death of Terri Schiavo. I couldn’t stand the sound of his voice after that, unlike Smerconish, who seems increasingly mesmerized by its sound. He used to do very good interviews with interesting people. Now he has on several very silly side-kicks who are his sycophants. The few times I turned back in to listen after the death of Ms. Schiavo, he had on psychics. He’s awful.

You cant be!!! The term “Pro Obama Republican” is a oxymoron. Much the same as the term “Christian Democrat” or “pro choice Christian” are ALL oxymoron's!!!
