Yes. But you’re using too much logic. The comment leftist/socialist defense is to hide behind the “victim” label whenever they’re attacked. That way, they never have to deal with their actual shortcomings. Remember Cynthia McKinney saying she was being persecuted because she was a black Congresswoman? That might’ve held some credibility back in 1967 but rang a bit hollow in the Condoleeza Rice era and post-Condoleeza Rice eras.
