I wonder how many Americans know about GE’s role in dumping PCBs into the Hudson River. Dredging, after years of debate, started this week.

We are told that very expensive carbon regulations are the only way to respond to global warming

Antarctic ice at record high levels, sunspot activity near record lows, coldest winter in decades. How these people perpetuate this garbage is beyond me.

GE is merely the ‘RAT Party’s replacement for ENRON.

Scandal-plagued Enron Corp., cited by Democrats as a big giver to President Bush and the GOP, gave a cool $420,000 to Democrats when the corporation was desperate to get the Clinton administration’s help in having the potentially disastrous Kyoto treaty made the law of the land.

Senate ratification of the treaty, which foes explained would have cost the U.S. billions and had a deadly effect on the U.S. economy, would have been a bonanza for Enron.

What’s Good for Enron Isn’t Good for America

According to Washington Times reporter Jerry Seper, a December 1997 private internal memo written by Enron executive John Palmisano said the treaty would be “good for Enron stock!!”

The GE commercial that shows a tree hugging a house because it produces less carbon dioxide really gets me mad. Warming if it was true, means more area for plants to grow and second carbon dioxide is something plants need. They would be cursing anything that denied it to them if they could.

How do we opt out of this scam?

We are told that very expensive carbon regulations are the only way to respond to global warming, despite ample evidence that this approach does not pass a basic cost-benefit test. We must ask whether a "climate-industrial complex" is emerging, pressing taxpayers to fork over money to please those who stand to gain.
Naw, it's just a weird coincidence.
