British actress and model Lucy Gordon has been found dead of an apparent suicide in her Paris apartment, police sources in the French capital said. She was 28.

I can’t imagine what goes through someone’s head before they decide to take their own life...SO SAD.

It is EXCEEDINGLY rare for beautiful young women to kill themselves. I’d be investigating it for homicide.

I did not think hanging was a woman type suicide. It seems poison or drugs are more likely. Very sad regardless.

I had a similar thought go thru my mind. Hanging isn’t a typical way for females to commit suicide — pills are much more common.

I’m wondering if it was like Heath Ledger..just taking sleeping pills to go to sleep and took to many......I’ve read women tend to favor pills over guns or other more violent means for suicide....

My sister in law hung herself at the age of 28 in 1984. It was really difficult to deal with. I read somewhere that hanging, wrist slitting, shooting one’s self are methods used by a person who is angry and wants to leave a mess behind. Posion and drug ods are the opposite. They want to let their loved ones down easy.

...sorry for the large pic...You can limit the size of the graphic by adding "width=xxx" to the HTML code, where xxx is the number of pixels you want.
For example: IMG SRC=blah blah blah width=300
I've found 300 to be a decent size for here.
