Deputy Minister Cohen: We must deal with Chavez-Ahmadinejad connection

In response to Ynet’s report according to which Venezuela and other Latin American countries were aiding Iran’s nuclear program, Deputy Finance Minister Yitzhak Cohen (Shas) said “we must take the hateful speeches delivered by (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad and (Venezuelen President Hugo) Chavez very seriously.
“Bitter experience has taught us that this issue should be dealt with as soon as possible,” Cohen said. (Roni Sofer)
