al Qaeda is looking to exploit weaknesses in U.S. border security and also is willing to ally itself with white militia groups or other anti-government entities interested in carrying out an attack inside the United States, according to counterterrorism officials interviewed by The Washington Times.
Right wing groups are highly nationalist and Christian, I don't see even the most extreme of them paling around with al-Queada. They'd be willing to go after politicians, but not a masscal attack. Maybe white nationalist/neo-nazi types would ally with AQ, shades of Hitler and the Grand Mufti or the Muslim SS Corp in the Balkans.
The politically incorrect fact is that the most likely allies of AQ in the US are Muslim immigrants and Muslim converts: we just had one of our homegrown muslim scum murder one of our soldiers in our own streets.
