WASHINGTON (Reuters) The U.S. Navy is monitoring a North Korean ship at sea under new U.N. sanctions that bar Pyongyang from exporting weapons including missile parts and nuclear materials, U.S. officials said on Thursday.

Notice how fast the Iranian election riots are now relegated to a place other than first. Time for the mullahs to start using AK-47s seriously while the world’s attention has been diverted to NORK.
So, what is the purpose of this “monitoring”? To escort them to Somalia or Kenya safely past the pirates who seized the last weapons shipment?
And in the end, the US Navy under Barry will merely assure them safe passage to their next port.
