Tehran - Iran's powerful Guardian Council said Sunday there were some irregularities in the June 12 presidential election, which has been widely disputed and triggered bloody street protests. The Guardian Council admitted that the number of votes collected in 50 cities was more than the number of eligible voters, the council's spokesman Abbas-Ali Kadkhodaei told the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) channel.

He said this amounted to about 3 million questionable votes, but added that "it has yet to be determined whether the amount is decisive in the election results."

Huh? I thought the chief towel-head who preached his “Death to America” sermon last Friday said that corruption is “impossible” in an Islamic republic. Guess he was lying again.

3 million questionable votes

"it has yet to be determined whether the amount is decisive in the election results."

Typical LIBeral math. We'll subtract the 3 million, but not the addtional unpteen million that gave ImANutJob the victory?

That makes the Guardian Council more credible than the pigs down at the DNC and on our Federal “courts” who wouldn’t know an election “irregularity” if it bit them on the ass.

What's happening in Iran today may be analogous to the Gdansk shipyards strike in the early 1980s; that was the domino that fell first as the Evil Empire collapsed.
