Thanks.

I wonder how many other pre-election deals 0 made ... and how he benefited personally.

He mentioned that Obama used the terms "appalled" and "outraged" in the Press conference and then asked him, "Why so late?"

It made him mad taht someone would ask such a question...but the question was spot on.

Imho, Obama has shown himself to live up to the worst stereotype of a politician - one without personal moral conviction who sees how the wind blows, then acts accordingly.

CHICAGO A NEWCOMER TO THE BUSINESS OF POLITICS HAS SEEN ENOUGH TO REACH SOMECONCLUSIONS ABOUT RESTORING VOTERS’ TRUST.
Plain Dealer, The (Cleveland, OH) - Saturday, August 3, 1996
Author: JOE FROLIK NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT

EXCERPT

Before entering the race, Obama said, he spoke to about 30 elected officials in the district, which includes the integrated, middle class neighborhood around the University of Chicago as well as some of the city’s poorest precincts.

“Not one asked me where I stood on an issue,” he says, smiling.

“What they cared about was, `Who sent you? How much money you got?’

'ol bambi sure found himself on the wrong side of this one.

This won't play well in Peoria...cutting a deal with Theocratic despots...inviting them over for hot dogs on the 4th...while they're shooting innocents on the streets.

Maybe it's just me, but the similarities between their election, the voter fraud, (even though we had no rioting in the streets, we had threats of such if zero was not elected) and neither country will ever know the truth about those “elected”. Also, similar activities in Kenya because of a cousin he coached about how to get elected and even campaigned for. The man is not to be trusted, and there has got to be ways to uncover that.

Garrett’s question-If you were so outraged, what took you so long to speak out -really rocked Barry.
Garrett then set off the Weinergate kafuffle by asking Obama if he was still inviting Iranian representatives to Fourth of July parties
for hot dogs and fireworks.
Barry refused to answer him and went off on a tangent about Iran that had nothing to do with the question.

I saw the clip afterward on the news. Wonder how long Major Garrett will be allowed in the press room.

Prior to this month's disputed presidential election in Iran, the Obama administration sent a letter to the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling for an improvement in relations, according to interviews and the leader himself.

If Obama truly didn't want to meddle in the politics of Iran, he would have waited until after the election.

i>They took “respect for the Islamic Republic” to mean respect for the government, different than past presidents who used only “Iran.” They cannot understand Obama. But who really does?

"Understanding" Obama is really quite simple. First ask, "what is best for Obama?"

Six months into the Clinton administration, I was embarrassed for my country.

Five months into the Obama administration, I am ashamed for my country.
