Madison police would enlist parental permission to search for guns in their childrens bedrooms in one part of a multifaceted plan outlined Thursday by Mayor Dave Cieslewicz.
The search and seizure proposal is one of a long list initiatives some new and some old that Cieslewicz wants examined in the wake of a sharp increase in gun violence on the south and west sides of Madison this year.
Weve got to be tough, Cieslewicz said. Weve got to pull every enforcement lever we have to deal with people who deal drugs and people who fire guns.

With a history of permissive and celebrated drug use they think they can do something about it now?
"Fire guns"? Who talks like that?
Generally...idiots and liberal a$$hats. OOPS! Same thing. I have often in the past dreamed of moving to Wisconsin; maybe not so much now.
Is it possible for a Third Party to consent to the Waiver of Your Rights?
Just because you are a Juvenile under the Laws of the State in which you reside, does that give your Parents the ability to Waive your Rights in the absence of any Power of attorney?
I would like to live in southern WS. in the country. Very beautiful.
It's always been employed.

Maybe it ain’t O’Bammy voters...;0)
Whole town is Bam voters except FRs own Dianainwisonsin , the green environitwits and the prodrug libertarians.
After which he added, "Stopping short, of course, of demanding responsible behavior from the socio-political special-interest bloc most responsible for the problem. But we will crack down on the average person who isn't part of the problem to begin with."
Oh, he didn't add that? He might as well.

Thanks for the pings!
Yes, it’s going to be a long, hot summer here in Mad-Town.
But never fear! Mayor Dave has it under control. There’s yet ANOTHER ‘Blue Ribbon Panel’ studying this issue and studying it HARD. Of course they never DO anything about it, but d@mn! They sure do STUDY it!
They’re opening a ‘Teen Center’ so the THUGS from Chicago and Milwaukee have a ‘safe place’ to plot their revenge against ‘Da Man.’
It’s going to take Mayor Dave getting shot, Kathleen Falk getting shot, or one of their own kids caught in the crossfire before these doorknobs WAKE UP.
If you build it, they WILL come! Grrrrrr!
And not only come, they’re dispersing to all of the little bergs around Madistan! Two summers ago, we had Gang Bangers in my Cow Town of 6,000. THIRTY rounds were fired, broad daylight (2pm in the afternoon), near a school, while rival MS13 punks shot it out.
Many, many more are going to have to die in our streets before the LibTards take any useful action.
My Dad got us OUT of Milwaukee in 1970. Looks like it’s followed us here.
“I have often in the past dreamed of moving to Wisconsin; maybe not so much now.”
Outside of four or five counties in the state, the rest of us are normal, LOL! It’s very, very beautiful here and one can live cheaply and safely in the RIGHT communities. :)
Eugsters!
Shouldn’t be long. I’m going there for Strawberries today. :)
And I am in Hog Heaven this season! There are 700 ACRES of Sweet Corn all around me right now and the grower is always nice enough to tell me when they’ll harvest and to get out there a day or so before they do. (This happens every two years; otherwise it’s soybean.)
He uses my easement to get to the fields; I get a little something ‘sweet’ for being so nice. :)
Can't wait for the tomatoes to come in!
Also wish I was going through Monroe for some cheese. : (
Madison seems scenic but these stories of mayhem concern me. I am interviewing for a job in Madison and need it.
Would I be moving into a leftist hellhole or what are reasonable alternative living locations.
