Here's the real lightbulb problem ~ with the invention of the "white" LED bulbs all things became possible. At the same time the manufacturers really haven't set a standard for fixtures so what we have is a strange collage of pasteups and workarounds.

If the Obamistas and their running dog lackeys had the slightest bit of sense they'd have asked (begged even) the manufacturers of LED lighting to come up with a standard bracket or brackets that would be available to all producers for use.

That way we could rapidly move on to LEDs and get past the less effective and much more dangerous CFLs.

At the moment the White House proposal seems so old-fashioned I just don't know what to say about it except ~ GAD! How utterly primitive of them!
