It looks like former Congressman Mark Neumann is about to take the plunge for WI Governor. Neumann is a solid conservative, strongly pro-life, but he's been out of politics for 10 years and has no name recognition. He was only in Congress for 4 years before running (prematurely, I might add like Katherine Harris in FL) for a Senate seat and losing in 1998.

Now I'm conservative as anyone and appreciate the role that having private sector experience has in any candidate. But we really need to get Doyle out of here, and Walker is definitely no RINO. Historically, businessmen (with no previous elected experience) make poor candidates. Walker has been an executive of Milwaukee County for going on 8 years now. This is really a no-brainer choice here as to who should get the nod to run for Governor. After all, Walker stepped aside so Mark Green could run in 2006. Also businessman Mark Todd is in the race as well.
