Madison — Gov. Jim Doyle and his staff failed to properly account for 145 travel expenses over two years, including a $5,200 business-class flight to Ireland and a $654-a-night stay in a London hotel.
Nearly three-fourths of the time in 2007 and 2008, Doyle and his staff didn't supply receipts as required under state travel policy. By comparison, Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton and her staff didn't provide receipts one-third of the time during the same period.
Travel records also showed Doyle spent more than $1,500 on two chauffeured vehicles in Canada. That expenditure did not violate state travel policy, however.
State policy requires employees to provide receipts for purchases made with their state-issued credit cards for flights, hotels and other expenses. That documentation was often missing from hundreds of pages of Doyle's travel records obtained under the state's open

Doyle stole money paid into an Injured Patients’ Compensation Fund, taking it for his use in the General Fund. Probably to help defray expenses such as these, as well as to initiate new social programs with which to purchase votes.
The providers who have to pay into the Fund were just given notice of a 10% hike in the payments next year. The reason? The Injured Patients’ Compensation Fund is “underfunded”. Surprise!
Taxation without representation is tyranny.
Doyle is a crook, but as long as he keeps the teachers union (WEAC), the trial lawyers and the indian casinos happy he has nothing to worry about. This article will probably be the last mention of this scandal in the “urinal-sentinal.”
Rules on disclosure, ethics and honesty are for employees and servants, not we of the ruing class. Lord Jim Doyle is not amused, disperse and be gone. Go back to the base amusements we have crafted for you, till your fields and make you quota at your work places so that you will pay the burdensome tribute the wise Doyle demands.
There are rumors of his leaving the Governorship early. That terrifies me because Lawton is worse than he is, though a Doyle Perp Walk would be entertaining. :)
Lawton is a lesbian. She’s completely soft-spoken and talks like a ‘widdow girl’ and she cries if anyone is mean to her. Another one of those ‘political geniuses’ that the NOW Hags have foisted upon the populace. *Rolleyes*

Now, Scott Walker is an entirely different candidate!! Hopefully the GOP won’t sandbag him again this time around and he has learned not to count on them.
