Sounds like Colin Powell wants to lock up the barn now that the horse has escaped.

Here's a bit I posted earlier on the Powell thing. It bears repeating.

I agree with every comment here about Powell being a Jerk and a Snake.

But I think what is going on here is people like Powell hedging their bets. They are starting to realize that this guy really IS on the lunatic left and his policies are going to lead to disaster. They are going to look like fools when this happens. What to do? Start a plan for damage control. Powell is in this mode. Trying to save face and not look like an idiot for endorsing him. It won't work with we here at FR but it might work with the knuckle draggers over in the MSM.

Powell is a political general who was advanced only because he is a negro. I've talked to some who worked with him in the Pentagon and they say that he was an egotistical asshat.

That type of personality recognizes genius in another narcissistic, egotistical asshat.

He's not so stupid that he doesn't realize that the ship is sinking and he's been an outspoken sycophant of Obama and his ilk.

Well; think Powell a 'simpleton' only inasmuch as he is a 'willing believer'; beyond that; I just seldom agree with his line of fuzzy thinking.

But 'who' would believe? The audience that 'hears' but does not care 'what'; and follows; whether they 'hear' or not. If Colin shakes his head 'no' when speaking of Obama; that may be just a bit of enlightenment; for a whole lot o people. . .

It's not much; for sure; but will take a 'glimmer' of an awakening; when it comes to the truth of Obama.

I don't know. . .if I think about it too long/too much; it frankly, all seems too close too hopeless. . .
