That leaves humans, or aliens.

That post is wrong on 2 counts.

1. 5-15% of sightings are significantly anomolous. Regardless, 1% would be sufficient for the fair minded to learn something.

2. No, I had a very open and undecided mind on the crop formations for some time. The the evidence became overwhelming. The scientific studies were particularly conclusive.

You seem unwilling to accept the scientific studies while demanding such.

Sad, that.

You said — Our preconceived notions and common sense may become a problem. In fact, isn’t faith the opposite of common sense?

What you said up above — may need some more explanation before I fully understand what you’re really asking or where you want to go with that. I can speak to what comes to my mind when I read what you said — but I’m confused enough by what you’re asking that I may be answering something different than what you really want. I hope you understood that, because I’m not sure I did... :-)

Okay..., is faith the opposite of common sense? No, I don’t see it that way. Some people see “faith” as almost like believing in the unbelievable or the irrational. I think faith is believing in the rational and believable and what proceeds from common sense based on God’s revelation.

If we base our common sense on the world that we recognize as coming from our Creator God, and understand things as stated from His revelation to us, about many things we would have no ability to know and understand — then our common sense is based upon a Biblical worldview and faith is the logical and reasoning extension of God’s revelation.

So, faith is full of common sense, based upon a Biblical worldview and a logical and reasoning view and extension of that same worldview.

To me, faith is reasonable, faith is justifiable, faith is common sense and faith is what is natural in God’s world and in His view.

PLEASE avoid sounding like as

WRONG

1. Corn is in rather consistent neat rows because it’s planted by machine. So, the vertical, say would be easy to follow.

2. Corn is larger . . . again . . . easier from a design stand point in a lot of respects.

I don’t recall the details well at all . . .

In addition to boards and ropes . . . which damage the crops

ENTIRELY DIFFERENTLY

than occurs in the authentic crop circles

. . . a fact the naysayers seem to consistently ignore . . .

they reportedly use drafting paper—the kind with squares on it etc. and I think also, tape measures.

No way such methods are going to produce the larger formations in an hour.

The chapter on crop circles.

They are between 33° and 33° 33'

Throw in

ET purported 3D holographic videos of Christ’s life and their purported creating of Him and all other religious personages of history as well as staging all His miracles with their ‘technologies.’

How many more would that gather into their delusion?

I had to think about that for a minute. Must be the Rolling Rocks.

parsy, who has put a few into the freezer to get thru this hot, humid sultry southern night where the mosquitos are as thick as the hookers down at the docks when the ships come in. A night so humid the moisture builds up on your skin like beads of dew on a windshield when you first crank on the air conditioner. It was on a night just like this that parsy first met her. She came into his office reeking of cheap gin and cheaper perfume. One strap of her cocktail dress hung over her pale, white shoulder. I knew she was trouble, but trouble in a sleazy black dress is what I do. (Oh excuse me. I digress)

I agree that I am communicating poorly. Wilkerson's recent blogs are speaking well about what I am trying to say. Let me try another approach.

What do we put our trust in, God's word or our common sense?

Are we in control or is God in control?

When we say we are in control, is that merely an illusion?

Does common sense say we are in control?

If we have a crisis in our lives, Maybe something God makes crooked, Should we fix it with our common sense or may it be better to wait on the Lord for the answer?

I think it is dangerous to assume that all phenomena have the same source. Yes, there are people out there with boards. That does not mean there are other crop circles made by other means that have different properties altogether. This is well established.

Yes, there are people out there in ape suits. That does not mean there aren’t real yeti. Yes there are people who do mutilations for satanic purposes. That does not mean that all cattle mutilations are done by the same sorts of people for the same reasons.

There are too many anomalies for people to make generalizations. There is truth out there and I believe in being an explorer with discernment - and an open mind. There is so much we don’t know and so much that is lied about or covered up, even (especially) by our own government. Over time all will be revealed.

I like to know what is going on and appreciate these threads that Quix pings me to read. Those who don’t appreciate the subject matter are welcome to visit other threads instead rather than stay to stir up ill reasoned argument that don’t add to the discussion so much as annoy other readers.

So, you're saying the crop circles are a good thing? I thought Quix was saying they're a bad thing.

Your date of the Babylonian Churban is incorrect, btw.

I still say it's the Good People.
