Palin appears on gun rights radio talk show

By By MARY PEMBERTON | Associated Press Writer

Gun rights enthusiasts welcomed Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as she made an appearance Friday on a radio talk show, whose callers included rock n' roller turned avid hunter Ted Nugent.

Palin spoke on the Michael Dukes' "Firearms Friday" show on KFAR radio in Fairbanks. She was in Alaska's second largest city to sign a gun rights bill and several resolutions.

Nugent, well-known for the 1970s hit "Cat Scratch Fever," told Palin from his home in Michigan that he was firing up the grill to cook up some Alaskan black bear backstrap in her honor.

The governor told Nugent that she thought that was "awesome."

Nugent signed off by saying, "Sarah Palin, God bless you and your family."

After talking with Nugent, Palin took some questions from listeners. Most of them said they supported her decision to resign but were disappointed.

"I chose not to play their game," Palin explained.

She wanted instead to free herself of the constraints of the governor's job so that she could again "get out there and fight," she said.

In Alaska, residents are allowed to carry weapons either openly or concealed without a permit. However, if they want to carry their guns in other states that have concealed carry laws they may need a permit recognized by that state.

Sarah mentioned that beside Alinsky “Rulebook for Radicals” the Democrats are following a pattern outlined in “The Thumpin”:

Sarah has made herself familiar with the machinations of Rahm Emanuel and the rest of the freak show.

When i went to Alaska several years back, the stewardess joked that when you enter the state they ask you if you have a gun. If you say no, then they hand you one saying you are gonna need this.

Palin is the anti-Obama.

I believe she is going to look for a future in media. Being Governor of Alaska is small potatoes when you look at how much influence a media star can have.

Rush could start a very comfortable retirement anytime now and hand the Golden EIB Mic over to Sarah.

That thing is more powerful than the POTUS Pulpit!

The freak show is a good way to put it. The Democrats and LSM would rather it stay behind the curtain. The stupid ethics complaints is not their finest hour.

That's how it should be in every state.

We received a heads up yesterday from “The Wizard” here on FR http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2290042/posts
and that was one of the best AM Radio programs I have ever heard.

Weekly theme of the program is “Firearms Friday”, and you put Palin (in person) and Ted Nugent (by phone) on the same program and you have a real winner.

‘That’s how it should be in every state.’

You got that right!

The ethics complaint was filed by some dolt with a court record synopsis two pages long. The most illuniating thing is this character’s attorney is the same guy behind most of the complaints and also is representing the the father of Bristol’s baby.

This loser of an attorney is so stupid that he filed a press release announcing the complaint filing. The big problem is any such action is unlawful as stipulated in the law allowing the filing of those ethics complaints.

So it is an obvious play to smear Sarah, she knows it and she will be taking action against it when the time is right.

I believe she is going to look for a future in media.

That's where she started. She was a sportscaster. Rush / Sarah; there are indeed parallels.

Knowingly violating the law in any legal proceeding is grounds for disbarrment. I look for this loon to lose his license in the not to distant future.

Very important.

Emanuel is in the business of destroying people. Opponents. Perceived enemies.

Plus it is in the dem/leftist/marxist/ playbook.

It seems their main rule is don't play fair.

Lie.

Distort

Keep honest people busy with false accusations and all of Alinsky's methods.

I think she is going to entrench herself in Nemesis Politics.

She is the archetypal antithesis of what our politicians have turned into over the years.

Yes, she is engaging in Nemesis Antithesis Politics.

LOL, kind of a tongue twister!

Yes, it's far past time to fight back.
