Let me guess, they will define millionaires as anyone making over $100k per year.

Actually these people control the media and spent so much money to elect Obama president that as far as I am concerned they just pay it. Not to mention how many corporate gifts their are to kook left wing groups like Acorn and others. All of the foundations they set up are left kook in nature. so as far as I am concerned they just pay.

Next up...a removal of the regressive cap on the SS portion of FICA. Count on it.

First, they came for the millionaires...then they discovered there weren't enough...so then they came for the working, but it was too late.

Hey next President, how about we eliminate welfare for anyone in good enough health that is able to work?

In related news, economic growth is predicted to shrink 5.4% in future quarters...

My joke wasn’t really a joke, they did that in California a few years back where a “Millionaire tax” hit everyone making over something like $200k per year.

The feeding frenzy of Congress and Obama for the rights, freedoms and wealth of We the People must cease.

Or anyone who would like to make a $100k per year.

I'm surprised they aren't trying to tap into the estate tax goldmine yet.

They will... And it will enrich a lot of lawyers and accountants! But won’t create a single job!

All this means is:
1) for corporate execs their compensation will be adjusted up accordingly and factored into the price of the products/services their company sells
2) for self-employed they will either factor it into their goods/services or cut back on other expenses like employees or other productive capacity.

Will never be a net addition to the economy. The government may think it is taking it from a handful of millionaires when really it is being paid by the vast middle class when the price of food goes up a nickle, or electricity goes up a $1, or [fill in the blank] rises to cover it.

The liberals are stuck on stupid

This is a dumb idea. If they only tax the millionaires at 5.4%, then I won't get any of it. I say tax them at 54%, so I can get my share.

Or better yet-- just tax the zillionaires at 100% and we will all get free health care AND ICE CREAM!

Or anybody who knows or is related to somebody who makes $100k.

Poor headline wording. Those with $1 million in income per year doesn’t equate with ‘millionaire.’
