Sometime Wednesday, probably mid-afternoon, an aircraft carrying the body of U.S. Army Pfc. Nick Gideon will arrive at Camp Pendleton. Gideon, from Murrieta, was killed in action on July 6 while serving in Afghanistan.

I try every day to make sure my family and I are worthy of the brave and selfless sacrifices of our military.
