Around the world, government-run health care is failing patients. Long waiting times, rationing or denying life-saving treatments and lower-quality care are common in government systems like Great Britain and Canada. Maybe that’s why major government systems are looking to the United States for innovations that make health care work better for everyone.
Some policymakers in Congress want a public plan to “compete” with private health insurers. Everyone agrees that we can improve our health care system, but why would anyone expect government-run health care to work for patients in the United States when it doesn’t work for other countries?

Hannity cornered one last night and siad he rejected the argument that doing nothing at all is harmful because we ALREADY HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD and who thinks GOVERNMENT tampering will make it better?

In the UK, it is very hard to sue and win. Especially when you lose trying.
I quite pleased with my family’s health care plan (Group Health Northwest) and I’ll be damned if I’m going to feel the least bit guilty about!!
That’s my point here in the US. While we are shoving this UK system down the US taxpayers throats, where is the objection from one of the mos lucrative, yet non productive part of our wonderful society, the malpractice attorneys?
I wonder if the bill has some restriction on suing the govmt. Of course, it might be a little difficult to win against the feds.
