Judy TooPinko will do exactly what the Combine asks her to do.

Don’t settle for either one.

Five-term North Shore Rep. Mark Kirk formally announced his bid for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate today, billing himself as an independent who wants to lead others who are “not afraid to stand alone” against the corruption that has infiltrated Illinois politics.

________________________________________

And Kirk’s record of “standing alone against corruption”:

- Mark Kirk received a donation from Congressman Bob Ney, who was indicted and pled guilty to bribery. Kirk returned the donation after Ney was convicted.

- Kirk received funds from American Prosperity PAC, which was controlled by Congressman Duke Cunningham, who had been indicted on federal charges. Kirk returned the donation after Cunningham pled guilty and was convicted.

- Kirk accepted $1000 from top Democrat fundraiser and Obama chum Tony Rezko, who was indicted on federal charges of attempted extortion, money laundering, and fraud. Kirk returned the donation after Rezko was convicted.

Great judgment there, Marky!

Kirk being endorsed by former Govs Jim Edgar & Jim Thompson, the Senate RINOs and fellow combiner slime Kirk Dillard was expected.

However, Kirk being endorsed by U.S. Senators Mitch McConnell, John Kyl. Sam Brownback and Illinois Senators Matt Murphy and Steve Rauschenberger is disappointing at best. At least Bill Brady isn’t on board yet. They’ll also reporting Jim Durkin endorsed him, but didn’t Durkin just say last week that Kirk is damaged goods because of his Crap n’ Trade vote?
