Nope. Up at Quang Tri. S-3 of the Tank Training Team. We trained the ARVN 20th Tank Squadron on their ‘new’ M48A3Cs.

There is no doubt that Cronkite was an anti-American left wing liberal socialist and a hypocrite beyond belief belief. The man is one the main reasons we lost our will to fight and win the Vietnam war. That war was not lost in the jungles of Vietnam but on the broadcast of CBS evening news by Cronkite and on the front pages of the New York Times. Yes, he was a very evil man.

a fair share of the economic pie Is whatever you are able to work for and earn, either by your direct labor, or by running a business. Either way, under a capitalist system you have to serve your fellow man in a way that benefits him in order to earn your way. Those who serve their fellow man in the most beneficial ways earn the most. Forcing "fairness" for those who aren't willing to serve their fellow man cheats those of us who are willing to serve others.
Capitalism is a very simple system when you look at it that way, and a very fair system. Why lefties are too stupid to get it is a source of never ending amazement to me.

Walter Cronkite took his status as a person the public trusted and used it to push a personal/political agenda instead of merely reporting the news and leaving it at that. We see the same thing with global warming “scientists” who push their politics instead of being advocates for the scientific method. They all abuse the trust of those who believe them. Propagandists all, often dangerously so, but nothing more than good liars and snake oil sales people.

Have you met a left wing liberal who does not worship money and wants to make a lot of it? Yes. I know a few who are fiercely proud of their lack of funds and use it to justify all sorts of hatred for those who have more than they do and any and all plans to take it away from them.
