Davidson remains active with the CPUSA offshoot the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS) and was very involved in coordinating far-left support for the Sanders and Biden campaigns in 2020, with the explicit intent of using Sanders, AOC, etc. as a means for a Marxist coalition led by CCDS, CPUSA, Liberation Road (aka Freedom Road Socialist Organization/Black Lives Matter), DSA, Left Roots, and Organizing Update to take over the Democratic Party. As a side note, none other than Cold War Soviet stooge Jack O’Dell was being listed on CCDS letterhead as late as 2018 (he died in 2019).
