I can’t help but think this whole story is a set-up to distract people from the Obama aministration’s government takeover of the medical industry.

The main character, Harvard Professor Gates, is a friend of the President of the United States. Even if the “arrest” wasn’t a steup, and I believe it was, does anybody not recognize the petty “community organizing” tactics?

I don't see it that way. I think it clearly demonstrates obumbers MO. Jump in and inject yourself with all the answers whether you know the facts or not. Just like his fix for the economy, cap and tax, health care and now a policeman doing his job.

That’s an interesting point. It probably wasn’t pre-arragned, but I betcha that Al Sharpton and the gang are already on their way to Cambridge to take advantage of it.

BTW, the police report says that the caller said there were two black men wearing back packs trying to break into the house. What happened to the second guy?

Is it possible that Gates was trying to create a distraction to protect his friend (who may have had a warrant on him or may have been carrying something like drugs or weapons in his backpack)?

I wonder if anyone has interviewed the 911 caller who set the whole thing in motion. If it was a setup that's where it started. I too am not saying it was a setup, but in today's world it's not out of the question and in the interest of getting to the bottom of the problem everyone involved should be interviewed.

Did anyone else see the Mayor of Cambridge interview? A very telling piece of tape! The reporter asked her if she felt race was involved. Her response was “Race is AKWAYS involved.”

I suspect we're going to see more and more examples of Obama supporters going off the deep end. Bless their hearts, they honestly bought into the BO myth, that somehow with his election problems would be solved and conditions would improve. That was never going to happen and as frustrated as many of them are to start with the realization that their man is just that, another man, they have no where else to turn.
