Also,

- take your time and move to a safe portion of roadway (wide view, minimal traffic) before stopping

- turn off the engine

- both hands on the steering wheel (12:00 preferred)

- don’t remove your seat belt to get your license/wallet until the officer asks for it

- If you have to get into the glove-box, tell the officer first

- answer politely; ask questions but don’t question the judgement of the officer.
