"If there's a blue pill and a red pill, and the blue pill is half the price of the red pill and works just as well, why not pay half price for the thing that's going to make you well?" -- President Obama
In last night's press conference, President Obama seemed to be reliving that famous scene from The Matrix. The main character is offered a choice between a red pill that makes him see reality for what it is, and a blue pill that allows him to continue living in a pleasant world of illusions.
Last night, President Obama appeared to have taken the blue pill before his press conference. How else could he convince himself, the Congressional Budget Office's numbers notwithstanding, that his health care reform bill will not increase both health care costs and the federal deficit? How else can he continue to make the argument that a massive expansion of government spending on health care will solve rather than exacerbate the current problems? How can he repeatedly express such absolute certainty that such a measure will easily pay for itself several times over in the long run? Why can he not at least acknowledge the possibility that it will become a costly and useless trillion-dollar boondoggle that follows in the footsteps of his stimulus package
Brilliant, but does he know most plans will already use a cheaper generic if available? Maybe Obama will next tell GM to start puitting round wheels on cars.
THIS is the basis of his plan for healthcare? that and denying your kid a tonsilectomy.
Go ask Alice. I think she’ll know.
LOL, that looks like a pic of Zer0 (we just see the back of his head) getting his performance review.
Oh, that's what that was. I thought it was one of those new VW Beetles with the doors open.
What color pill do you take for a black pain in the a$$?
My doctor just switched my Aunts blood pressure med, because he thought it was better for her as an individual. How many other times have doctors decided one med or antibiotic wasnt doing the job the way he expected, and then switched you?
This Kenyan A-hole in DC wants to be part of the decision.
Liberals are inherently “reality challenged”.
Obama is a wedge. As in the world’s most simple tool.
He defines stupid.
He is the baseline above which all human intelligence exists.
He is pond scum.
Any questions?
“Obama had the audacity to suggest that medical decisions cannot be left to doctors because they might have a profit motive”
And then immediately started to talk about how much money would be saved by making us take the correct pill. Apparently sock monkey has never heard of irony.
China is already making fake pills, let’s just take those
LOL...loved your post. (See my tagline.)
The Tonsils comment was the worst. Physician prepare to be demonized!
Nobama is running scared. He is going down the tubes and he knows it. He will crater soon and when he does, expect a castrophe of monumental proportions so that he can institute martial law and attempt to maintain control.
He is showing his frustration and fear, and even his own party is beginning to shun him. It is time to turn up the heat.
The REAL problem is that obama’s plan will force Medicare recipients (all of us eventually) to the end of the line for healthcare, and force them to undergo “end of life counseling” in anticipation of being denied severely rationed healthcare and forced into a hospice on pain medications to die before their time.
Even Rahm Emanuel’s brother is part of this Nazi plot within obamacare. And there are other eugenics/”duty to die”-supporting “bioethcists” who have been advising obama and his minions on all of this.
Then there is abortion-”care” at the other end of the life-cycle, within obamacare.
There should be a scream of protest, all across the country, against the Nazi obamacare, a protest too loud, to pervasive, and too disruptive to be ignored!!!!
All pills do the SAME THING; which is why there will only be one drug under Governmental health-care: Ibuprofen.... also known as “Ranger Candy.”
I have been requesting generics for years now...we have a coupla libs in our office, and they REFUSE to get generics, stating that they are just not as good, then they bitch about the high price of drugs.........circular argument
