Gitmo will be closed, but the prisoners just moved somewhere else, with no other changes.
I’m pretty sure that that those who wanted Gitmo closed weren’t looking for it to be renamed and moved to a new location, ya know?
Next will come the demands in jail. Toilets to be moved (they cannot face Mecca), arrows to face Mecca, special meals, prayer times, etc.
The prisons the terrorists are in will become a focal point for everyone from the ACLU to Al Qeada.
And what happens with new prisoners or have we changed our policy so that we no longer can take prisoners?

Maybe. Obama and the Dems are in power. You’ll note that the entire Code Pink / Gitmo / anti-war crowd has been silenced since the Dems figured out they were gonna win the election.

There are plenty of Federal Prisons that is just like Supermax. The government can always build another Supermax
Most of these facilities only contain supermax wings or sections, with other parts of the facility under lesser security measures.
