That really isn't the point I was trying to make. If you bring these people into the US, you automatically imbue them with additional rights under our Constitution, which will make it more difficult to convict them and could result in the release of classified information.

By reverting back to the Clinton-era policy of treating terrorists as common criminals, we must adhere to things like reading them their Miranda rights and rules of evidence. Hard to do on the battlefield.

This is not a matter of putting people in secure prisons, but rather, of changing their current status. It is very dangerous.

I do not think that their status is going to change at all.They are going to throw these people into the “shoe” and forget about them
