Nothing against Mr. Meakam, but I miss Q&R...especially Rose when she goes into one of her rants. She[’s usually right to go off on a tear, but the rants are often funny.

Oh, you are SO right! If you look back over the past few threads we're all pretty much in agreement about Glen. He was very good at the Tea Party and on his own shows but he's a little like a fish out of water when it comes to Q&R. Yesterday he was getting more into it.

That's what he said but I clearly remember Jim saying it was only one week in August. Maybe that changed...but I sure hope it didn't!

I would suppose that for a number of fans, no substitute will be pleasing. I didn’t mind Mike Pintek when he was guest host, but some people didn’t care for him either.

Quinn & Rose are in a class by themselves. A tough act to follow. Hard to replace them or substitute for them.

An ACORN related lawsuit is being filed in PA. ACORN claims they are being "handcuffed" by the PA voter registration laws. Here's an excerpt from a news service wire feed.

PA ACLU Files Suit Over Constitutionality of State Voter Registration Law.

Pittsburgh, PA - The American Civil Liberties Union Of Pennsylvania is filing a lawsuit on behalf of the group ACORN calling into question the constitutionality of the state's voter registration law.

Pennsylvania's voter registration law is being targeted in a lawsuit claiming it's unconstitutional and is handcuffing groups trying to enroll more residents to vote. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform NOw ( ACORN) conducts voter registration drives in the state by paying workers to get low and moderate income residents to sign up. Vic Walczak, legal director for the A-C-L-U of Pennsylvania, which filed the suit, says the state law makes it illegal to pay workers based on the number of applications they collect. He says ACORN doesn't pay "per application"....

The thing is ACORN, or whatever the new name is, isn't sitting still. They are on the move despite lawsuits charging criminal activity. (RICO)
