As President Barack Obama attempts to cool a heated racial row in the US linked to the arrest of a black Harvard professor, a growing conspiracy claims that he is hiding a Kenyan birth certificate, making him ineligible to serve as president.
Conspiracy theorists in the United States and far right wingers, who have begun to call themselves “birthers”, claim that Obama is not entitled to be in the White House simply because he is “foreign born”, the Daily Telegraph said.
According to the conspiracists, there is something suspicious in the absence of a photocopy of Obama’s original birth record, known as the “long form”, even as the White House has published copies of his official birth certificate -—a printed summary of his birth details, including the name of the medical centre in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was born.
The “birthers” claim that the photocopy of Obama's original birth record would have been prepared by doctors or hospital officials involved in his birth and would contain fuller details, including the address of his parents.
According to Conservative radio host George Gordon Liddy, who was linked to the Watergate burglary, Obama was in fact born in Kenya, his father's home country. He claims to have seen a deposition by the President's Kenyan step-grandmother, 86-year-old Sarah Obama, stating that the city of his birth was Mombasa, the report said. The President is therefore "an illegal alien", Liddy said.
And if this is in the Hindustan Times, even when factually incorrect, what does that tell us about it's "legs" and their chance of putting the genie back in the bottle? Or should I say "djinn" instead of genie in honor of our Dear Leader?

Someone needs to send this to DRUDGE.
All Mr. Obama has to do is provide for forensic inspection his long form Brth cCtificate. The long form Birth Certificate will show (through parental citizenship) whether or not he’s a “Natural Born Citizen” of the US of A - Natural Born being defined as both parents of US citizenship.
In the Army, this is something we would say to be “too easy”.
Or perhaps not......
To the best of my knowledge no Hawaiian official has said anything more than the long form B.C. is valid. None has ever said that it proved that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Be patient, this affair will only grow worldwide. It is not only the American people who deserve to know the identity of their president — pretty soon all heads of state will want to know who they’re dealing with. Too much is at stake. No one wants to sign agreements with an enigma.
This whole affair is making us a laughing stock. If Obama and Congress had any decency they would put an end to this guessing game once and for all.

No, the COLB doesnt have it. It only states city/town of birth (Honolulu). However the reported official-bio birthplace hospital is Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
